Joining the 2nd Texas ( CSA )



The only requirements placed on a member is that you Show Up at Wild West City 5 times during the season in outfit to add to the atmosphere........... 

(During the May thru October season, there are 51 weekend days and over 90 weekdays. We only ask for 5 out of 141 )

Any shows you get into are because you want to, no pressure from the members or WWC staff etc. We're happy if you're just " Window Dressing ".

OUTSIDE EVENTS:

We portray the 2nd Texas Confederate Cavalry Unit (dismounted) from west of the Mississippi.
We fought the Billy Yanks, the Indians AND the Mexican bandits all at the same time.
Uniforms were hard to come by out there so part uniform & part civilian can be done if in period.
.
You may start out as a civilian to observe before you commit $$$ to a uniform.
.
We do not require you to attend any outside events since attire needs to be period correct if at all possible.
.
This means civilian clothes or military uniforms - guns, tents, etc.
.
We will help you get set up if you do wish to participate - Its a lot of fun once you get into it.

Our oportunities to take part in civil war events are too many to list at this time. We will notify all interested parties of upcoming events upon request (Jest put yer name on the list).
