Joining the Western Cavalry (1870s )
.
A good character to portray at WWC.
.
The only requirements placed on a member is that you Show Up at Wild West City 5 times during the season in outfit to add to the atmosphere...........

(During the May thru October season, there are 51 weekend days and over 90 weekdays. We only ask for 5 out of 141 )

Any shows you get into are because you want to, no pressure from the members or WWC staff etc. We're happy if you're just " Window Dressing ".

.
.
OUTSIDE EVENTS:

We portray, a cavalry unit (dismounted) from out west in the 1870s.
We fought the  the Indians AND the Mexican bandits.
We were made up of former confederate and union soldiers and civilians that enlisted.
Uniforms were worn but complete, replacement pieces were available to us if the Indians didn't get the supply trains.
.
You may start out as a civilian to observe before you commit $$$ to a uniform.
.
We do not require you to attend any outside events since attire needs to be period correct if at all possible.
.
This means civilian clothes or military uniforms - guns, tents, etc.
.
We will help you get set up if you do wish to participate - Its a lot of fun once you get into it.
.
Our oportunities to take part in events are not too many as this is not big in the east. It works well at WWC.
We will notify all interested parties of upcoming events upon request (Jest put yer name on the list).
.
Its just another chance to play ......
.
JUST REMEMBER, IF YOU "VOLUNTEER" FOR AN EVENTS,
THEY AND WE, WILL EXPECT TO SEE YOU THERE........
