Joining the AEF Doughboys 1917 - 1919
.
A rare time period and character portrayal.
REQUIRES DEDICATION TO AUTHENTICITY.
.
The only requirement placed on a member is that you Show up at Wild West City 5 times during the season in a western style outfit to add to the atmosphere...........

(During the May thru October season, there are 51 weekend days and over 90 weekdays. We only ask for 5 out of 141 )

Any shows you get into are because you want to, no pressure from the members or WWC staff etc. We're happy if you're just " Window Dressing ".

.
.
OUTSIDE EVENTS:

We portray the typical WWI Doughboy returning fron war.
Uniforms , gear and weapons MUST be period correct.
We were made up of people from all walks of life that enlisted.

.
We do ask you to attend events if possible .
.
This means proper military uniform, haircuts, gun, etc.
.
We will help you get set up if you do wish to participate - Its a special feeling once you get into it.
.
Our oportunities to take part are growing such as in parades and Memorial services.
.
We are currently comitted to :
.
Memorial services with Am. Legion Post 86 12 cemetaries around Sussex Co. on the Sunday before Memorial Day
(this takes about 5 hours)

.
We plan to march in parades on:
..

.
.

.
.
JUST REMEMBER, IF YOU "VOLUNTEER" FOR AN EVENT,
