Mission
DUTIES OF THE
AZTR
.
WHILE AT HQ. WWC:
.
.
When we formed the Arizona Territorial Rangers Historical Reenactment Group, we wanted to preserve the memory of lawmen of the old west.  Arizona was chosen because of it's historic value in the development of the old west.
.
We are volunteers who strive towards historical accuracy in our shows (well, most of the time..). ( For obvious reasons we are in no way to be considered actual law enforcement officers . )
.
Our members come from all walks of life, all with an interest in western history. Men, women and youngsters (with
adult supervision) are welcome to join us.
.
We  volunteer at Wild West City, helping out in everything from shows, cleanup, and crowd control, to maintenance and even some construction and repairs. In return, we are allowed to "live out our childhood dreams" of being cowboys ....
.
Our Office is in the Marshall's Office at Wild West City. We are currently remodeling the jail and rebuilding a set of old time jail cells that date back to 1890.
